This is the
personal web site of Tony Cunnane, Yorkshire (West Riding) Man, former Royal Air Force pilot,
one-time PR for the RAF Aerobatic Team the Red Arrows, erstwhile frustrated musician,
railway anorak, and now happily retired and content!
If you wish to write to me about anything you read on this site, please
send it to author at tonycunnane dot co dot uk replacing 'at' and the
two dots with the appropriate signs!
I answer all sensible messages, as many of my regulars know.
A comprehensive alphabetical site contents
page is here.
In view of the never-ending troubles in Afghanistan and Pakistan, you
may wish to read how I nearly provoked a nasty incident on the border
between the two countries in early 1970. It was accidental of course,
but I doubt if the tribesmen of the North West Frontier Province would
have accepted that as an excuse. Click here. I have now
reinstated the pages dealing with my pre-RAF years. You can find that
material by clicking on "Early Years" on the menu on the left.
I have re-scanned my pictures of Darwin and
Sydney taken in 1965, the Gan pictures
page, and I have re-organised the pages and rescanned
the images of the Dam Busters' 50th Anniversary
in 1993.
Site last updated on
